Hancock Street Residence

(re)work provided architectural design services for the renovation of a row house shell in Northern Liberties.  A previous owner had begun restoration of the building’s exterior, but the interior was still in need of a total overhaul.  All of the existing interior partitions where removed to provide open, modern living spaces.  A deteriorating narrow winder stair was removed and replaced with a straight run stair with custom glass and metal railings fabricated by the owner.  The new space includes an open living room, dining room and kitchen on the first floor.  Two bedrooms and a large bathroom are located on the upper floors.
